Music is an auditory art form made out of sounds that fit together and entertain you. Here is an example of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony in C minor which is a very famous piece of classical music that has entertained millions:

Sounds in music are different to background noises (like a clock ticking or machinery in a factory) as musical sounds are created to entertain the audience. Other noises may just be created as a result of different processes happening.
